OT Job Details
Job Description:
We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a team of health professionals in providing excellent health care in our client’s facility. You’ll be working with patients to help them recover, develop, or improve everyday living skills. You will help the patient Improve, regain, and develop the skills needed for day-to-day life and work. It addresses a variety of issues, including physical disabilities, mental health conditions, developmental disorders, cognitive impairments, and chronic illnesses. By providing tailored interventions and strategies, OT aims to enhance independence, support overall well-being, and improve quality of life for individuals facing challenges in their daily lives.
Responsibilities for OT:
- Evaluating a patient’s condition and needs.
- Developing treatment plans to address a patient’s needs and help them meet specific goals.
- Assessing a patient’s home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient’s needs and improve independence.
- Addressing client’s aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being and life quality.
- Selecting and adapting the appropriate per case occupational therapy treatment model, method and approach to direct the process of interventions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors (B.A., B.S.) or Master’s degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy
- Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program
- Possess or be eligible for state licensure
