JOB SUMMARY:
Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Ingham County, MI (Exact district shared during interview)
Schedule: Onsite, full-time (20–40 hrs/week), 9-month academic year
Start Date: Immediate openings for 2025–26 school year
Health Staff Group is actively seeking multiple experienced, onsite Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based program in Ingham County, MI. This role involves delivering direct speech and language services within an educational environment, supported by a structured and collaborative clinical model.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K–12 students under IEP development
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring; document treatments thoroughly
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school staff
- Utilize our client’s proprietary therapy platform and clinical tools
- Engage with mentors and clinical managers for ongoing support and development
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in MI (or ability to obtain one promptly)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) required
- Prior experience in K–12 or pediatric settings preferred
- Reliable transportation to commute to school sites
- Personal laptop required (NO Chromebooks allowed)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $ $44-$49(max)/HOUR
- Opportunity to earn up to a $250 (up to $3,000 per year) monthly incentive for providers who work 60 hours or more in an invoicing period (approximately every 2 weeks) and meet other eligibility criteria. Exact hourly rate will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, geographical location, and other qualifications.
