Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, formulate anesthesia care plans, and select appropriate anesthesia techniques and medications based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period, adjusting anesthesia levels as necessary to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management.
Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies, implementing appropriate interventions to maintain patient safety and stability.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and promote a collaborative and patient-centered approach to anesthesia care.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding anesthesia, pain management, and perioperative care.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Georgia or eNLC
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program
Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CRNA in a hospital or surgical center setting
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
